Very basic computer skills means using a mouse, turning off and on a computer, using email, etc.

ITS staff will work with students one-on-one for basic computer training. ITS has the mandate and the time to devote to students and walk-ins are welcome. This is the fastest way to get help.

Corporate and Continuing Education
CCE offers online tutorials and an in-person class for basic computer skills. There is a cost.

Blackboard Courses through the Library

At the beginning of Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters, the library offers a basic Blackboard class, which assesses the skill level of beginning students taking their first online classes.

Other Resources
Veterans AffairsFirst Year Experience, and TRiO offer this support in varying ways. There are a number of resources outside of CPCC, like the Char-Meck Public Library
